Our standards
Since 2012, we have selected our stones for their colour, consistency and quality of cut. Many of our stones are selected and cut in our partner workshops in Jaipur, India; the others come from suppliers chosen with the same high standards.
Guide
The diameter changes the whole look of a piece. Here are our guidelines.
| Size | Look | Ideal for | Recommended thread |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 to 3 mm | Faceted micro beads, sparkling effect | Fine bracelets, delicate necklaces, layering | Fine nylon thread or 0.35 mm silk |
| 4 mm | Delicate and even | Bracelets, fine necklaces, earrings | 0.35 to 0.65 mm silk, nylon, elastic |
| 6 mm | The classic, clearly visible | Stretch bracelets, necklaces | Elastic, 0.65 mm silk |
| 8 to 10 mm | Bold, boho look | Statement bracelets, long necklaces | Thick elastic, 1.02 mm silk |
Always check the hole: its diameter is given on every product page, and small faceted beads often have a very fine hole. The length of a bead strand varies by stone, from about 35 to 40 cm: it is given on every product page.

Take it off to swim, exercise or apply perfume and cream. Wipe it with a soft cloth and store pieces separately to avoid scratches. Some materials, such as mother-of-pearl or malachite, are more delicate: keep them away from water.
The properties attributed to stones come from tradition and lithotherapy. They can inspire your choice of stone, but they are in no way a substitute for medical advice.
