A gold-plated brass thread, a few fluorite beads, and a set pendant: that’s all you need to create a delicate ring with a strong character. This simple assembly is based on the wrapped loop technique — an essential foundation that opens the door to dozens of combinations depending on the stones, colors, and mood of the moment.

Using round-nose pliers, form a loop about 3 cm from the end of the thread. Slide the set pendant into the loop before closing it.
Wrap the short end of the thread around the base of the loop to lock it. Cut the excess with wire cutters. Flatten the cut with flat pliers for a clean finish.
With flat pliers, form a right angle between the loop and the main thread. The pendant should face you, aligned properly. Then string the fluorite beads, adjusting the number according to your finger size.
Curve the beaded thread around your finger or a mandrel to give the ring shape. Wrap the remaining thread at the base of the loop, cut the excess, and flatten the cut. Adjust the pendant's position if needed so it falls nicely in the center.

You can vary the look endlessly: replace the fluorite with amazonite for a softer style, or with garnet for a more intense touch. And by playing with the bead diameter (3 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm), you completely change the ring's appearance.
