To start, cut a brass thread about 42cm long. (For a 40cm necklace)

Mount the pendant on a 4mm ring then slide it onto the thread.

Start assembling the beads symmetrically...

Here we strung the 4mm white beads around the pendant then 5 stone chips.

Then add a touch of color with 6mm Heishi beads.

Between each 6mm washer, insert a 4mm washer. This adds dimension.

You can also place metal washers to add contrast...

Continue the assembly to your liking...

Once the beads are strung to the right length, form the loops at the ends. Here we made a 40cm necklace to create a choker.

Open the loops then place the clasp on one side and the extension chain on the other. (approx. 4cm)
