30mm wooden beads
 glittery waxed cotton

To start with, customise the wooden balls with a felt-tip pen or paint.

Here we've created some very simple designs: polka dots, crosses and even a word. Let your imagination run wild.

Then position the cord in the tassels:

Fold a copper wire in half and insert the loop into the head of the pompom.

Thread the cord through the loop and pull it through.

Adjust the length of the cord, about 20cm folded in 2.

Tie a knot with both ends.

Do the same with all your pompoms.

Finally, insert the threads into the wooden beads.
