Threads for jewelry
Unique earrings where each stone is hand-wrapped to form a delicate rosary chain. Strawberry quartz, aventurine, moonstone, and Keishi mother-of-pearl blend in an organic and refined composition. A characterful piece of jewelry to create yourself using the wrapped loop technique.

Necessary tools: flat pliers, round pliers, wire cutters. All products are available on perlescorner.com and in the Paris store.
All products will be added at once.
To start, place the round-nose pliers about 3cm from the end of the brass thread and wrap the thread (3cm) around the pliers to form a loop. Attach the earring base to the loop.

Now flatten the loop with the round-nose pliers to prevent it from deforming. Grab the small end of the thread with flat-nose pliers and make 2 well-positioned wraps just below the loop. Cut the excess thread flush and slightly flatten with flat-nose pliers.
Thread the strawberry quartz bead then position the round-nose pliers 1mm below the bead.
Form a loop around the pliers with the thread, then continue the motion to wrap the thread between the bead and the loop created with 2 turns. Cut the excess thread flush and flatten the cut with flat-nose pliers.

Repeat the process with the other beads, remembering to connect the previous assembly when creating the first loop before wrapping the thread.
Alternate the stones — strawberry quartz, aventurine, Keishi mother-of-pearl, moonstone — to create a natural play of colors and textures.
To finish, at the bottom of the chain when adding the last bead, end with the marquise pendant to add movement and elegance to the whole. Cut the excess thread with wire cutters.

Find the wrapped loop technique in video to follow the steps one by one.
Perles Corner Tip
For even wraps, try making small loops of the same size and wrap the thread 2 to 3 times around the base of each loop. The more you practice, the smoother the motion becomes. Feel free to practice on a few extra beads before assembling your final earrings.
