Twelve petals strung one by one on a gold-plated brass wire, and a flower takes shape. A delicate crown, placed between two mother-of-pearl beads, extended by a pearly acetate drop. At the top, a faceted mother-of-pearl cabochon catches the light. A simple assembly for a piece unlike any other.

Tools needed: Glue — UHU Max Repair
Thread 12 petals onto a brass thread, alternating the direction of each petal to create volume. Cross the two threads to form the crown. Pull the threads tight, then pass a thread inside the crown to lock the closure. Repeat a second time, then do the same with the other thread. Tighten well and cut the threads flush.
Thread a mother-of-pearl bead onto a stud, then the petal crown, then a second bead. Form a fairly large loop: you will need to be able to connect the drop pendant to it.
Connect the acetate drop pendant at the bottom of the loop. At the top, attach the earring support. To finish, glue the faceted mother-of-pearl cabochon into the support with a tiny dab of glue.

Make sure to orient each petal well before closing the crown: a regular flower is the detail that makes all the difference. If you want a fuller flower, add 2 to 3 extra petals.
