To begin, make a rectangle in even peyote weave.

Assemble 20 starting beads and 9 rows high.

Cut a chain to the length of your choice. Here we've taken 45cm.

Cut 5cm of extension chain then connect it to the chain with a 3mm ring.

Connect the buoy clasp directly to the other side of the chain. ( the ring of the clasp opens to allow direct connection )

Then place the star on the extension chain with a 3mm ring.

Then place the weave around the warp.

Using your weaving thread, connect the beads so that they naturally fit together. 

To block the weave, pass the thread back through the beads and then pull the thread out towards the inside of the tube.

Do the same with the thread at the start of the weaving.

And voilà!
