The assembly: |

To start, mount the faceted Moonstone Feldspar beads on ball headpins. Form pretty discreet loops at the edge of the beads. Now start threading the beads onto the brass thread. Cut a brass thread about 25cm long. We will do the threading symmetrically. Thread the previous assembly, bead on headpin, onto the brass thread. On each side, place metal bicone beads, 6mm Bohemian beads, and golden rondelles. Then place 6mm beads again followed by faceted metal beads. Then thread 4mm Bohemian beads, striated metal beads, 4mm beads, and again striated golden metal beads. Finish with 3 Bohemian 3mm beads on each side. Look at the photo below to closely follow the bead assembly. ![]() Gather the brass threads together in a rondelle bead and a faceted golden metal bead. Tighten the thread well; this creates a bead assembly that naturally forms a drop shape. If needed, reshape the drop so it is harmonious, nicely round, and not too elongated. With one of the 2 brass threads, form a loop. To do this, bend the thread at a right angle tightly at the edge of the metal bead, cut the excess to keep about 1cm, and form a simple loop using round-nose pliers. Thread the earring loop setting into the created loop. Then, hold the bead earring loop assembly firmly in one hand and wrap the second brass thread once between the golden bead and the created loop. Cut the excess thread flush on the back of the earring loop. Flatten the cut brass thread with flat pliers. To finish, glue the cabochon into the setting, being careful not to use too much glue. Repeat the steps for the other earring... Your jewelry is finished! Beautiful creation! |
