Step 1:

To start, cut 2 pieces of faceted oval chain keeping 6 oval links. 

Then thread the first link of the chain and the bead onto the eye pin. Before pulling the pin out, position the last link of the chain on the pin. This way the bead is surrounded on one side by the chain.

Then thread the metal bead onto the headpin.

Form a loop with the round-nose pliers.

Step 2:

Cut 5 pieces of chain of different sizes between 3.5 and 6.5 cm.

Be careful not to make the chains too short as this would not give the elongated look to your earring.

Open the loop located at the bottom of your bead, on the metal bead side, and attach the 5 chains.

Close the loop and do the same for the other earring, making sure to cut chains to the same lengths.

To finish, place glue in the earring findings and position the cabochons.

Attach the findings to the top of the bead directly by opening the loop of the headpin.
