To start, you will need an 8mm mother-of-pearl bead, a flat head pin, and a Lotus flower bead cap. The bead will fit inside the petals and allow the bead cap to hold on the pin.

First thread the bead onto the post then place the bead cap. Hold the bead cap gently without forcing to avoid breaking it! 

Then form a loop wide enough to fit inside the pendant. 

Now open the spiral loop with flat pliers then position it inside the circle pendant. This step is a bit delicate; hold the loop with the pliers, which will help guide the post through the hole in the pendant more easily.

Still using the flat pliers, close the loop in the opposite direction to secure the assembly. Make sure the loop is well closed and properly aligned.

Now start assembling the beads located on the edge of the pendant.

Cut a brass wire about 20cm long and thread 2 Miyuki 11/0 beads, one 2mm mother-of-pearl bead, and again 2 Miyuki beads.

Place the beads in the center of the thread then position the centered beads at the lower outer edge of the pendant.

Twist the thread around the pendant for 2 turns on each side of the beads. For a small wave effect, do not stick the beads to the pendant; leave a small space to create a curve of beads.

Continue like this on each side of the central beads. Tighten the thread well around the pendant.

7 small waves of beads then wrap the thread tightly around 3 turns. Cut the excess flush with the last turn and on the back of the pendant.
Slightly flatten the cut thread with flat pliers, being careful not to damage the thread!

To finish, open a 5mm ring with 2 flat pliers then insert the pendant and the earring support, making sure to position them correctly.

Close the ring by checking that it has returned to its axis and that there is no gap.
