This creation is quite simple to make, follow the instructions below to faithfully reproduce this model. Use the Brickstitch weaving technique on base.

For this version weave the garnet beads along the edge of the base. 

Cut a thread about 60cm long, mount the first bead keeping a starting thread of about 15cm. To do this, string the bead, pass the needle inside the base before passing back through the bead.

String a new bead, pass the needle inside the base then pass back through the bead. Continue like this to fill the entire bead border...

Be careful, for a beautiful weave it is very important to tighten each bead well on the base!

Starting is a bit tricky because the first bead remains flexible since the starting thread is not yet secured! But don’t worry, we will tighten the bead at the end of the assembly.

Once the beads are mounted, pass the weaving thread into the first bead making zig-zags between the beads then tie a discreet knot at the bottom of a bead in the thread that goes around the base. Cut the thread flush.

Now take the starting thread and pass it through 3 beads in a zig-zag to secure it, tie a knot as before. Cut flush.

Your jewelry is finished!

You can wear this pendant as a necklace, mounted on a chain or even on a hoop earring!
