This tutorial shows you how to position a ring easily on a very thin chain. This technique will give the link a round shape, making it easier to insert the ring.

To do this, use a reamer or a nail. Insert it into the link to be widened, then gently deform the ring. This will become round and make it easier to position the ring. Be careful not to apply too much force, which could weaken the link. This technique can only be used on chains with welded links. And voilà! |
