To start, choose your beads, play with different shades, effects (smooth or faceted), sizes, shapes... Here we took a strand of donut beads in Tourmaline for the side and back part of the necklace. For the front, we used beads in Garnet, Labradorite, Amethyst, golden metal beads, beads mounted in Strawberry Quartz, and a faceted drop-shaped Garnet stone. For the threading thread, use Griffin silk thread, very strong, flexible for assembly for a comfortable necklace to wear. It already comes with a needle to facilitate threading! Tie the end of the thread to the clasp, make several knots to secure the assembly. Keep a small piece of thread to pass back through the first beads at the end of the assembly. Thread a metal bead in which you can slip/hide the knot. Start threading the beads... Here we made a central part (mix of beads with the drop) measuring about 12cm. For a 40cm necklace, you will thread 14cm of Tourmaline beads. Once the first beads are threaded, start the central assembly. Alternate metal beads, natural stones of different sizes, shapes, and colors. In the center, mount the drop bead then continue symmetrically. To finish, cut 3cm of extension chain, thread a metal bead and the extension chain. Place the assembly on the table making sure not to leave any space between the beads but keeping a flexible threading. Do not lay the threading in a straight line, as you might create tension between the beads when the necklace returns to its normal curved shape. Insert a pin into the thread at the edge of the metal bead. Now tie knots around the pin to ensure the knots are positioned correctly. Remove the pin at the last moment. Pass the needle back through the metal bead and through 4/5 beads. Cut the excess thread flush. To finish, thread the starting thread onto a bead needle and pass through a few beads before cutting the thread flush.
