This creation is quite simple, don’t try to be too regular, you will see that naturally the beads will position themselves on the edge. In this type of creation with ethnic inspirations, it’s the slightly irregular “handmade” look that gives all the charm and makes your creation more lively.

To start, cut a brass thread about 30cm long. (Be careful not to take too little thread as no connection is possible, nor too long to avoid tangling the thread.

Wrap one end of the thread around the hoop making 3 tight turns. Then cut the excess thread flush.

With flat pliers, flatten the edge of the previously cut thread towards the hoop to prevent snagging. 

Start working on the beads...

String a bead, place it on the outer edge of the hoop then bring the thread inside the hoop. Your bead will naturally lock in place.

Bring the thread back outward then string another bead. Place it on the edge then wrap the thread around the hoop.

Continue like this until placing 9 beads...

In the center, proceed as with the beads but this time with a pendant. Wrap the thread around the hoop then continue symmetrically with the remaining 9 beads.

To finish, wrap the threads tightly around 3 turns at the edge of the last bead.

Cut the thread flush then flatten it neatly.

And there you go! Beautiful creation!
