Abalone beach bracelet

Fall for our new jewelry piece composed of a superb Abalone mother-of-pearl bead with multiple reflections.

To highlight the bead, we paired it with two chains. One with small gold nuggets and one beaded with Amazonite to enhance the turquoise shade of the bead.

A simple multi-strand bracelet to make where the two chains naturally intertwine on the wrist to add elegance and a lot of delicacy.

A tutorial ideal for beginners or experienced creators.

For this project you will need:

The assembly:

This creation is quite simple to make; follow the explanations below to faithfully reproduce this model.

To start, mount the bead on an eye pin, surrounded by 2 metal beads. Form a nice loop (of the same size and in the same axisas the one already present on the headpin).

Now, measure the length of the bead you just mounted (measurement taken with the loops). These beads are all unique; size and shape may vary, so it is very important to measure each assembly before cutting the chains. Measure your wrist circumference then subtract the bead assembly measurement.

Do not add any value to your measurement; the clasp and extension chain will add the necessary ease for the comfort of the jewelry. If you prefer a bracelet that fits snugly on the wrist, you can reduce the measurement slightly.

Divide the obtained measurement by 2. This gives you the length of the chains to cut.

Cut 2 pieces of nugget chain and 2 pieces of rosary chain of the same size.

Connect the chains directly to the loops located on each side of the bead. Do not add rings!

Now, open a 4mm ring and connect the clasp to the 2 chains on one side of the bracelet. On the other side, connect a 3cm piece of extension chain to the 2 chains with a 4mm ring.

To finish, open a 4mm ring, insert 3 mounted beads, and connect the ring to the end of the extension chain.
