An ultra simple assembly, start by making the Heishi bead necklace. If you use elastic thread, nothing could be simpler, string the beads then make a double knot. For assembly with clasp, cut a polyester thread of about 60cm. Thread it into the split needle then pass through the ring of the clasp. Make a double knot at the edge of the clasp. String the beads... Here we made a 40cm choker necklace. Tip: To avoid threading one bead at a time, leave them on the wool thread and pinch about 2cm of beads with your fingers. Carefully remove them from the thread while keeping them aligned, then thread them onto the needle. This allows you to assemble faster. Once the beads are strung, place the extension chain then make a double knot.
Tip: after making your knots at the edge of the clasp, thread the thread into the beads for about 2cm then cut the excess between two beads.
For the chain necklace, cut a pretty fancy chain of 50cm then place the pendant in the center with a 4mm ring. At the ends of the chain, place on one side the lobster clasp with a 3mm ring and on the other side a 3cm piece of extension chain with a 3mm ring. Beautiful creation! |
