To start, create your bracelet as you wish, adorned with beads, charms...

Then position it in a circle in its final shape.

Cut a new thread about 30cm long (size to adjust depending on the number of knots to make). Be careful, the shorter your thread, the harder it will be to handle it to form the knots.

Fold the thread in half and pass the loop under the crossing of your bracelet. Loop positioned to the left.

Then pass the thread at the bottom right over the thread at the top right. This will lock it.

Then pass the thread that was at the top right over the crossed threads of your bracelet to enter the loop on the left.

Pull the threads on each side to tighten the knot. Be careful not to tighten the knot too much, your threads should be able to slide.

If needed, use the macramé pins stuck in your mat to hold the bracelet in place.

Then to make a square knot, we will make a knot on the other side. To prevent the knot from twisting, alternate the knots from one side then the other.

Pass the right thread under the crossed threads of the bracelet. 

Pass the thread at the bottom left over the top thread.

Then pass the thread that was at the top left over the bracelet to enter the loop on the right.

Tighten the knot...

Continue the knots as before, alternating sides. Once the loop on the left then once the loop on the right...

Make as many knots as you want.

To finish, cut the thread leaving 2mm then burn the thread.

As soon as it starts to melt, press with your finger to stick the thread against the knots.

And there you go! Beautiful creation!
