3mm and 4mm rings
fancy chain with small nuggets
lobster clasps
chains of various sizes and links
pliers for jewelry making

The assembly:

This piece of jewelry is very simple to make; to start, choose your different pendants. You can opt for simple pendants or connectors.

For the choice, don’t hesitate to vary shapes, patterns, textures, sizes... This will give you a wide variety of possibilities.

Assembly of pendants and connectors:

To start, cut 2 pieces of fancy bead chains. We chose this chain because it can match all other chains and all pendants. Its size is neither too thin nor too thick.

Keep 5 bead links on each piece of chain.

Now for a pendant, place a 4mm ring at the top of the pendant. Then join the 2 bead chains to the 4mm ring with 3mm rings.

For a connector, join the 2 chains to the rings on the sides with 3mm rings.

Now attach the clasps to the ends of the bead chains with 3mm rings.

Assemble all your pendants with this method... And if you want to mount a pearl, use a brass wire or a headpin!

Assemble the different chains...

Here we like choker necklaces and slightly longer necklaces just above the chest.

Make different lengths with your chains so you can easily match them with your various outfits.

Vary the chain lengths between 35cm (choker) and 50/60cm (for a neckline fall). Or longer if you like long sautoirs!

Be aware that the pendant assembly will add length to the final piece.

Then place a 4mm ring at the ends of your different chains. These will serve as attachments for the lobster clasps of your pendants.

Tip for making double necklaces:

With this type of assembly, you can also join your chains to create double necklaces. To do this, attach one chain to one side of the pendant and another chain to the other side. Attach another pendant to the ends of the chains.

So when you place these necklaces around your neck, you will get 2 rows of chains that you can adjust to wear one choker necklace and another just below.

Attention: For this type of assembly to work, you must join 2 chains of the same length!
