Isis Necklace

A bohemian spirit, the finesse of the golden thread, the stone in its natural state... This piece has everything to captivate us!

With this tutorial, learn how to simply set your raw stones into jewelry.

For this project you need:

Linhasita thread for macramé jewelry (size of your choice)
 A raw stone
 A macramé mat

The assembly:

1 - To start, cut 3 threads about 1m long.
Adjust the size to your liking. Here we made a long necklace with a 0.35mm thread.
Then follow the diagram below.

2 - Tie a knot at the center of the 3 cords.

3 - Separate the cords in a star shape to form 3 pairs.

4 - Tie a knot on each pair of cords.

5 - Be careful to place the knots at the same level. Tighten the knots well.

6 - Separate the threads and pair them with neighboring threads. Then tie a knot.

7 - Continue tying knots all the way around.

8 - Make sure to place the knots at the same level for more uniformity.

9 - Check if your stone is positioned well and see if the knots are properly placed. If needed, continue tying knots.

10 - Once the net is the right size, place the stone then tie a knot with all the cords to secure the stone.

11 - Separate the threads into 2 sets of 3 threads, then braid all the way to the end.

12 - Make a knot to secure the braids and cut off the excess threads.
