Strand of 4x3 mm faceted rondelle beads in multicolored Fluorite, gradient

A strand of about 39 cm of small faceted fluorite disks, arranged by color. The gradient runs from deep violet to lilac, from pink to honey, then to sea green and translucent, and it repeats along the thread. The facets catch the light and make each shade shine.

Features:

  • Stone: multicolored natural fluorite
  • Shape: faceted disk
  • Size: about 4x3 mm
  • Hole: about 0.8 mm
  • Thread length: about 39 cm
  • Quantity: about 140 beads per thread
  • Color: gradient of violet, pink, honey, green and translucent

Strung in thread order, the gradient creates a strand with shifting colors: a delicate bracelet, a choker necklace, or multiple layered strands. Sorted by shade, the disks can also be used as spacer beads. With a hole of about 0.8 mm, use 0.3 to 0.5 mm nylon thread or a fine cable.

A bit of gemology: fluorite is a calcium fluoride (CaF₂) that crystallizes in the cubic system. Its name comes from the Latin fluere, “to flow,” because it was used as a flux in metallurgy, and it gave its name to the phenomenon of fluorescence. It is one of the minerals richest in color, often zoned within a single crystal, which explains the shades in this thread. The main deposits are found in China, Mexico, South Africa and Mongolia. Its hardness is only 4 on the Mohs scale and it cleaves easily: keep it protected from impacts and store it separately from harder stones.

In lithotherapy: nicknamed the “genius stone,” multicolored fluorite is associated with several chakras, especially the third eye and the heart. It is believed to help support concentration and bring order to thoughts.

100% natural product: size, shape, shade and number of beads may vary slightly from one thread to another. The thickness of the disks ranges from about 2.8 to 3 mm. Dimensions and quantities are given for guidance only.

Guide to good practices for caring for your jewelry

Guide to good practices for caring for your jewelry

Few objects are imperishable and last over time. Your jewelry, regardless of price or composition, will live with you and thus show signs of aging. This is perfectly normal and does not call the quality into question.

Here are some tips to keep them in the best condition for as long as possible.

  • Remove your jewelry before washing, bathing, and during beauty routines (cream, perfume...). This will help preserve the gold plating in good condition and not damage the Gemstones. Rest assured, the Prémium Perles Corner metals are of very good quality and will survive occasional exposure to water.
  • Avoid chemical products. Contrary to what one might think, doing the dishes, swimming in chlorinated water... does not go well with metals and stones.
  • Be sure to store your jewelry properly. When you are not wearing them, we recommend storing your jewelry in a case, a suede pouch, a zip bag, and especially not in a humid room like the bathroom.
  • Clean your jewelry with soapy water. Avoid chemical products or toothpaste, which could be too harsh for metals and stones. Regular maintenance, once a month, is sufficient. Be sure to dry them well afterward.

In conclusion, your jewelry, like all things, are objects that need attention and respect so you can enjoy them for as long as possible. With these few tips, they should accompany you for years!
