Strand of faceted rondelle beads 5,5 x 4 mm in natural strawberry quartz

A strand of about 39 cm of faceted strawberry quartz rondelles, in a pale, luminous pink. In the transparency of the stone, fine copper-red flecks drift, sparkling as the facets catch the light with every movement.

Features:

  • Stone: natural strawberry quartz
  • Shape: faceted rondelle
  • Size: about 5.5 mm in diameter
  • Thickness: about 4 mm
  • Hole: about 0.8 mm
  • Strand length: about 39 cm
  • Quantity: about 90 beads per strand
  • Color: light pink, red inclusions

Strung end to end, the rondelles form a dense, even row, ideal for a choker necklace or a multi-strand bracelet. They also slip between round beads to add rhythm to a design. With a hole of about 0.8 mm, a 0.4 to 0.6 mm nylon thread or a thin cable is suitable. These same rondelles are also available in a lot of 10.

A little gemology: strawberry quartz is a colorless quartz (silicon dioxide, trigonal system) that trapped countless micro-crystals of iron oxides during its growth, especially lepidocrocite and hematite. Its color therefore does not come from the silica itself, but from these inclusions, visible under a loupe as dots and tiny needles. Hardness 7 on the Mohs scale, density about 2.65. Its name evokes strawberry seeds; Kazakhstan is its best-known deposit, ahead of Brazil and Madagascar.

In lithotherapy: strawberry quartz is linked to the heart chakra. It is said to carry a gentle energy, focused on tenderness and kindness toward oneself and others.

100% natural product: the size, shape, shade and number of beads may vary slightly from one strand to another. Dimensions and quantities are given for information only.

Guide to good practices for caring for your jewelry

Guide to good practices for caring for your jewelry

Few objects are imperishable and last over time. Your jewelry, regardless of price or composition, will live with you and thus show signs of aging. This is perfectly normal and does not call the quality into question.

Here are some tips to keep them in the best condition for as long as possible.

  • Remove your jewelry before washing, bathing, and during beauty routines (cream, perfume...). This will help preserve the gold plating in good condition and not damage the Gemstones. Rest assured, the Prémium Perles Corner metals are of very good quality and will survive occasional exposure to water.
  • Avoid chemical products. Contrary to what one might think, doing the dishes, swimming in chlorinated water... does not go well with metals and stones.
  • Be sure to store your jewelry properly. When you are not wearing them, we recommend storing your jewelry in a case, a suede pouch, a zip bag, and especially not in a humid room like the bathroom.
  • Clean your jewelry with soapy water. Avoid chemical products or toothpaste, which could be too harsh for metals and stones. Regular maintenance, once a month, is sufficient. Be sure to dry them well afterward.

In conclusion, your jewelry, like all things, are objects that need attention and respect so you can enjoy them for as long as possible. With these few tips, they should accompany you for years!
