Plating is still a surface layer: the thicker and better protected it is, the longer it lasts. Take off your jewellery to wash, swim or apply perfume and cream, and store it away from moisture.
Our brass findings, gold- or silver-plated in Europe, are nickel-, lead- and cadmium-free, REACH compliant.

FAQ
REACH is the European regulation (EC No 1907/2006) governing the use of chemical substances. For jewellery, it notably restricts nickel, lead and cadmium. Our findings in 24K fine-gold plated or 925 silver-plated brass are nickel-, lead- and cadmium-free and REACH compliant.
Both are gold plating on a brass base. 24K fine gold plating gives a warm, deep gold tone. 3-micron gold plating deposits a thicker layer of gold that better resists rubbing: it suits jewellery worn every day, such as rings.
Gold plating lasts longer the better you protect it. Avoid water, perfume, creams and rubbing, and store your jewellery away from moisture. 3-micron gold plating is the most resistant finish.
Our gold- or silver-plated brass findings from the Europe range are nickel-free. If you have a severe allergy, solid 925 sterling silver is the safest option; ask your doctor for advice if in doubt.
Solid silver may darken over time: this is normal. A special silver cloth restores its shine. Store it in a closed pouch to slow down tarnishing.
