Natural faceted strawberry quartz drop bead 13 x 10 mm, top-drilled, sold individually

A faceted strawberry quartz drop, in a soft pink sprinkled with tiny copper-red sparkles that evoke strawberry seeds. Its top is flat and drilled all the way through, so it hangs straight at the end of an earring or a necklace.

Features:

  • Stone: natural strawberry quartz
  • Shape: faceted drop, flat top
  • Size: about 13 x 10 mm
  • Drilling: cross-drilled, at the top of the drop
  • Hole: about 1 mm
  • Quantity: sold individually
  • Color: pink, red inclusions

Slip it onto a jump ring or bail to make a pendant, or hang it from a leverback for a pair of earrings. Thanks to the top drilling, the drop stays facing forward and its facets catch the light with every movement. Order two for a pair.

A bit of gemology: strawberry quartz is a colorless quartz (silicon dioxide, trigonal system) that contains fine inclusions of iron oxides, hematite, or lepidocrocite. These are what draw the red dots and needles in the stone and give it its pinkish hue. Like all quartz, it has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale and a density of about 2.65: a sturdy stone, suitable for everyday wear. Its name, purely commercial, comes from this red-fruit speckled look. It is found notably in Kazakhstan, Mexico, Brazil, and Madagascar.

Good to know: the color of strawberry quartz comes from its natural inclusions and not from dye; their distribution therefore changes from one drop to another. Care with a soft cloth, without household cleaner.

In lithotherapy: strawberry quartz is associated with the heart chakra. It is believed to carry a gentle, warm energy linked to self-love, tenderness, and joy for life.

The bead you will receive: the photos show drops from the same batch as your order. The hue and inclusions are therefore representative; as each stone is natural, the density of the red dots and the shade of pink vary slightly from one drop to another.

100% natural product: the size, shape, and shade may vary slightly from one bead to another. Measurements are given as a guide.

Guide to good practices for caring for your jewelry

Guide to good practices for caring for your jewelry

Few objects are imperishable and last over time. Your jewelry, regardless of price or composition, will live with you and thus show signs of aging. This is perfectly normal and does not call the quality into question.

Here are some tips to keep them in the best condition for as long as possible.

  • Remove your jewelry before washing, bathing, and during beauty routines (cream, perfume...). This will help preserve the gold plating in good condition and not damage the Gemstones. Rest assured, the Prémium Perles Corner metals are of very good quality and will survive occasional exposure to water.
  • Avoid chemical products. Contrary to what one might think, doing the dishes, swimming in chlorinated water... does not go well with metals and stones.
  • Be sure to store your jewelry properly. When you are not wearing them, we recommend storing your jewelry in a case, a suede pouch, a zip bag, and especially not in a humid room like the bathroom.
  • Clean your jewelry with soapy water. Avoid chemical products or toothpaste, which could be too harsh for metals and stones. Regular maintenance, once a month, is sufficient. Be sure to dry them well afterward.

In conclusion, your jewelry, like all things, are objects that need attention and respect so you can enjoy them for as long as possible. With these few tips, they should accompany you for years!
