To get started, choose your beads, play with the different colours and effects (smooth or faceted)... Cut a nylon thread about 15cm long. Thread a pearl to be crushed onto the earring ring and then back through the pearl to be crushed. Bring it back towards the ring of the earring then flatten it with the flat pliers. Now string the beads. Here we've placed 4 6mm beads, a central 8mm bead and then 4 6mm beads again. Conceal the starting thread in the first 2 beads then cut the excess flush. Place the butterfly clasp on the earring post. Thread a squeeze bead, pass through the clasp ring and then pass through the squeeze bead again. Pass the thread back through the last 2 beads strung. Pull on the thread to tighten the stringing and form the beads creole. Flatten the pearl to be crushed, then cut the remaining thread flush.
Repeat the operation for the second loop. Your jewellery is finished! Beautiful creation! |
