To start, cut the chain to the desired length. Here we took a 38cm chain for it to fall just above the collarbones. Adjust the size to your liking. Then glue the 8 cabochons (or even more!) into the suitable supports. Place a little glue, being careful not to use too much. For this, you can put the glue on a small piece of cardboard and apply it with a fine stick like a toothpick. Position all the cabochons and then wait for them to dry completely. It's best to do this step the day before. Then, connect the pendants to the chain with 3mm rings. Here we placed them on the small rings that connect the oval rings of the chain. This way they will all fall in the same direction. You can create a gradient of color or have fun with your own composition! To finish, attach the clasp on one side and on the other a piece (about 3cm) of extension chain (optional if the necklace fits perfectly to your size and if you want to wear it always in the same place). And there you go! Beautiful creation! |
