A clasp and extension chain

To start, cut the chain to the desired length. Here we used a 38cm chain to fall just above the collarbones. Adjust the size to your liking.

Next, glue the 8 cabochons (or more!) into the appropriate settings. Place a little glue, being careful not to use too much. For this, you can put the glue on a small piece of cardboard and apply it with a thin stick like a toothpick.

Position all the cabochons then wait for complete drying. It’s best to do this step the day before.

Then, attach the pendants to the chain with 3mm rings. Here we placed them on the small rings that connect the oval rings of the chain. This way they will all hang in the same direction. 

You can create a color gradient or have fun with your own composition!

To finish, attach the clasp on one side and on the other a piece (about 3cm) of extension chain (optional if the necklace fits you perfectly and if you want to always wear it in the same place).
