Threads for jewelry
|
We love the finesse of this bracelet that combines mother-of-pearl beads and small natural faceted Garnet beads. A delicate setting that can be adapted in many ways and even made as a choker necklace version.

To start, unwind your silk thread. Then thread the needle through the clasp hole and bring it toward the end of the silk thread. Make the knots tight at the edge of the clasp ring. To secure the knots, make double knots, meaning you pass the thread twice through the loop before tightening the knot. Using a fine rod, place a small drop of glue on the knots then cut the excess thread flush. Now start threading the beads by alternating a pearl bead and a small 2mm bead. Continue like this until the desired length is reached, taking into account the extension chain that will be added afterward. To finish, thread a 3cm piece of extension chain then tie the knots right at the edge of the beads. To help you position the knot, you can stick a needle into the thread just at the edge of the chain. This way, the knot will be perfectly in place. Watch our video below. Be careful not to tighten the row of beads too much; it must remain flexible. Your jewelry is finished! Beautiful creation! |
