The threads for jewelry
|
We love the finesse of this bracelet that combines mother-of-pearl beads and small natural faceted Garnet beads. A delicate assembly that can be adapted in multiple ways and even made in a choker necklace version.

To start, unroll your silk thread. Then thread the needle through the hole of the clasp and bring it towards the end of the silk thread. Make the knots tight at the edge of the clasp ring. To secure the knots, make double knots, meaning you pass the thread through the loop twice before tightening the knot. Using a fine rod, place a small dot of glue on the knots and then cut the excess thread flush. Now start threading the beads by alternating a mother-of-pearl bead and a small 2mm bead. Continue like this until the desired length, taking into account the extension chain that will be added later. To finish, thread a piece of 3cm extension chain and then make the knots right at the edge of the beads. To make it easier for you to position the knot, you can poke a needle into the thread just at the edge of the chain. This way, the knot will be perfectly in place. Watch our video below. Be careful not to tighten the row of beads too much; it should remain flexible. Your jewel is finished! Beautiful creation! |
