Sakura Loops

A symbol of beauty and life, one cannot resist this poetic jewel adorned with small Sakura flowers...

For this creation you need:
acrylic flowers Miyuki 11/0 seed beads 2 closed rings 40mm copper wire a pair of sleeper earrings

The tools to use:
pliers for jewelry making

Step 1:

To start, cut a piece of copper wire about 50cm long.

Be careful, when working with copper wire, make sure not to use pliers or twist the wire.

Step 2:
Wrap one end of the wire around the ring. Make several turns to secure it well and then cut the excess wire flush.

Step 3:

Then, thread an acrylic flower followed by a seed bead and go back through the flower.

Hold the flower tightly against the ring before pulling the wire.

Wrap the wire around the ring and then continue like this with the other flowers...

Tip: don't be afraid if your first flowers are not perfectly positioned. You can go over them with the wire to secure them and place new flowers in between. They will naturally position themselves as you go.

Step 4:

Once you have as many flowers as you want, turn the work over.

Continue with the wire by placing a seed bead at each pass this time.

This will dress the back of the loop and give the impression of small flower buds.

Once back at the starting point, wrap the wire around the ring a bit and then cut the wire flush.

Step 5:

To finish, gently open the ring located at the bottom of the sleeper and then insert the ring. Close the loop properly.

Tip: always open a spiral ring inward, never outward! For earrings, always open the ring at least enough to pass your element through, otherwise you risk breaking it.
