For this project you will need:
a gold plated ring base for 6mm cabochon a 6mm natural stone cabochon Miyuki seed beads 15/0 a 2mm natural bead strand transparent Griffin nylon thread 0.15mm UHU glue

The assembly:

To start, cut a nylon thread about 80cm long (plan for a long enough thread as no joins will be possible during assembly).

Thread the needle then place 12 Miyuki seed beads 15/0 on the thread. Pass the needle back through the first bead to form a bead circle.

Position the bead circle around the cabochon setting.

Now pass through all the beads of the circle to come out where the first thread exits. Tighten your assembly well then tie a double knot.

Throughout the assembly, tighten your thread well; it must not be loose or the petals will be too soft.

Now start assembling the bead petals.

String 9 natural stone beads 2mm on the thread.

Then pass through the bead of the circle and then the next one.

Repeat the previous step to make all the petals corresponding to the beads of the first circle.

Once all the bead petals are made, tie a double knot with the starting thread then pass the thread back through a few beads of the first bead circle. Cut flush. Do the same with the starting thread.
