The assembly: |

To start, cut a thread of about 1 meter. I prefer to take a bit longer for this type of assembly because a joint in the middle can be complex and tedious! Thread the thread through the eye of the needle. Now we will start weaving the beads on the edge of the hoop. For this, we will use the double Brickstitch weaving technique as it will place 2 beads at a time. Thread 2 beads and then pass the needle through the hoop before going back through the beads. Naturally, the beads will position themselves on the edge of the hoop, the thread makes a loop around the hoop. Keep a thread of about 15cm at the start. Continue with this technique until you assemble 4 series of pairs of beads, then thread a needle on the starting thread and zigzag through the beads over the 4 pairs of beads. Cut the thread flush. Always continue with this method until you place a total of 19 pairs of edge beads. ![]() Once your beads are assembled, zigzag through the previous beads to secure them well, then come out through the last 2 beads. Now we can start assembling the fringes with the drop beads. Thread 9 drop beads and then go back through the 2 edge beads. Then move on to the next one, insert the needle into the 2 beads next to it, thread 9 drop beads, and then go back through the 2 beads. Continue like this until all the edge beads are filled with the fringes. For a nice finish, do not pull the fringes too tight; they should remain flexible. ![]() Once all the fringes are made, zigzag through the beads on the edge for about 4 beads and then make a discreet knot. Cut the thread flush with the beads. Proceed in the same way for the other earring. Your jewelry is finished! Beautiful creation!
