This creation is fairly simple to make, but will require meticulous attention to detail when tying the knots. Follow the instructions below to faithfully reproduce this model. To begin, unwind the silk thread completely. We'll start by placing the clasp on the silk thread. Thread the buoy clasp onto the silk thread, then tie a double knot at the edge of the clasp. Trim the excess wire to 1mm from the knot, then apply a small dab of glue to secure the knot. Now string the beads... Here we've made a 41cm necklace (without the extension chain). Adapt the number of beads to your needs. Thread 44 round 4mm beads, one metal bead, one pink quartz bead, one metal bead and the Keshi bead. Continue in symmetry, one metal bead, one pink quartz bead, one metal bead and then 44 beads. ![]() Once all the beads have been mounted, we'll place the extension chain. This is the most complicated step, as the knot must be well placed, with no gap between the last bead and the chain, and above all, not too tight. Your assembly must remain supple and fluid for comfort and a beautiful fall. To do this, use either the special knot tool or a needle. For the tool, use it as usual, make the knot around the tip, tighten well and then make the second knot in the same way. If you don't have the tool, insert a needle into the thread at the edge of the chain, then tie a first knot around the needle. Tighten the knot, then remove the needle at the last moment. Do the same for the second knot. Finally, trim off the excess thread and place a small dab of glue on the knot. Your jewelry is finished! Beautiful creation! ![]() |
