To start, measure the size of your neck, leaving a little play. This necklace should fall at the level of the collarbones. Here we made a choker of 38cm. (Total size, clasp plus beads without extension) The extension chain will allow you to adjust the necklace more easily. Be careful not to forget that the clasp must be counted in your measurement. Cut an extension chain of about 3cm. This will allow you to adjust the necklace more easily to your outfits depending on the necklines. Here we took the diamond chain that will work with the large clasp. If you want a smaller clasp, opt for the classic extension chain with a small lobster clasp. Start the assembly on the silk thread. Here, the thread already has a built-in needle that will make assembly easier! First, thread a bead to be crushed, then the clasp before passing back through the bead to be crushed. Bring it towards the end of the thread and to the edge of the clasp before flattening it. Now thread the beads... Then thread a bead to be crushed, the extension chain, and then pass back through the bead to be crushed. Now pull on the thread; naturally, the bead to be crushed and the extension chain will move closer to the beads. Be careful to place the necklace in its final shape and maintain some flexibility. Then crush the bead. Cut the excess thread. And there you go! Beautiful creation! |
