Paua mother-of-pearl choker necklace

Fall for this delicate new piece of jewellery featuring a mix of gold pendants and Paua mother-of-pearl sequin.

The reflections of the mother-of-pearl here blend perfectly with the sparkle of the pendants. You can wear this necklace with a variety of outfits in all seasons.

It's very easy to make, as we explain below!

You will need :
24K gold-plated diamond chain 6 pendants 10mm Gilded with 24K fine gold 2 wavy pendants 16mm Gilded with 24K fine gold 1 wavy pendant Gilded with 24K fine gold 4mm rings gilded with 24K fine gold 9 pendentifs sequin Nacre Paua Abalone of the extension chain Gilded with 24K fine gold a buoy clasp Gilded with 24K fine gold

Assembly:

To begin, cut a chain about 40cm long. Adjust the length to suit your taste and size. This necklace can be worn just above or below the collarbones for a beautiful pendant effect.

Visualise the central link of the chain, then open a 4mm ring and insert the mother-of-pearl sequin and the larger wavy pendant. Connect the ring to the central link and close it securely.

Now we're going to place all the pendants on the chain in symmetry with 3 links between each pendant. You will connect your ring to the 4th link. Pay close attention to the direction of the links so that your pendants all fall in the same direction.

For a pretty effect, we placed the large wavy pendant with a mother-of-pearl sequin, a small pendant, followed by a wavy pendant with a sequin, a small pendant again, then continue alternating a mother-of-pearl sequin, a small pendant, a mother-of-pearl sequin... Continue as far as you like.
