Rosary chain earrings in natural stones

For this project you will need:
earring hooks Gold plated with 24K fine gold flexible 0.4mm brass thread Gold plated with 24K fine gold pendants of your choice Gold plated with 24K fine gold irregular natural beads

The assembly:

To start, choose your beads and your pendants. Here I chose small-sized pendants to enhance the cascade of beads. On the Amazonite version I opted for a marquise pendant that extends the cascade.

Lay your beads flat trying to position the largest at the top and the smallest towards the bottom of the assembly. Play with the different irregular shapes to create a natural and organic look.

Cut a brass thread about 50cm long. Form a first wrapped loop making sure to place the pendant in the loop before closing it. For a nice finish, for each loop I make 2 turns of thread then cut the thread flush on the back.

To create discreet loops, use the thinnest tip of the round pliers!

Now thread the first bead onto the thread and make a wrapped loop on top of the bead. Cut the thread flush and slightly flatten the cut to prevent snagging.

Make a new wrapped loop on the thread incorporating your previous assembly before wrapping the thread.

Thread the bead then make the loop on top.

Continue the assembly until you create a pretty rosary chain of 5 beads.

To finish, after making the last loop on top of the 5th bead, thread the earring hook through the loop. Secure the assembly by tightening the earring hook loop.
