Black Mother-of-Pearl Bracelet

An elegant touch to your wrist...

This bracelet combines 24K gold and the iridescent shades of black mother-of-pearl.

A creation full of finesse, very easy to make that you can personalize with the stones of your choice!

For this project you will need:

a connector pendant for 8mm cabochon
an 8mm cabochon (stone of your choice)
 chevron chain
 3mm rings
 extension chain
 a lobster clasp

The tools to use:

 flat pliers
 UHU glue

Step 1:

This bracelet uses classic mounting techniques.

To start, glue the stone into the cabochon setting. Apply a small dot of glue in the center of the setting and then gently place the stone.

Wait for complete drying before continuing.

Then measure your wrist and subtract the value of the pendant, which is about 2.5cm. Take the measurement snugly at the wrist; the value of the connecting rings and the lobster clasp will add the necessary ease for comfort.

Divide the obtained measurement by 2, cut the 2 chains to size.

Gently separate the chevron chain by opening the chevron links with 2 flat pliers as you would for a ring. Then close the chevron link so that it returns to its original position.

Connect the chains to the pendant with 3mm rings. Be careful about the direction of the chain. Look closely at the photo below.

To finish, place the lobster clasp and the extension chain at the ends of the chains with 3mm rings.

And there you go! Beautiful creation!
