To start, cut a nylon thread of about 80cm (make sure to have a long enough thread as no connections will be possible during assembly).

Thread the needle and then place 12 seed beads 15/0 onto the thread. Pass the needle through the first bead to form a circle of beads.

Position the bead circle around the cabochon support.

Now pass through all the beads of the circle to come out where the first thread exits. Pull your assembly tight and then make a double knot.

Throughout the assembly, pull your thread tight; it should not be loose, or the petals will be too soft.

Now start assembling the petal beads.

String 9 natural stone beads 2mm onto the thread.

Then pass through the bead of the circle and then into the next one.

Repeat the previous step to make all the petals corresponding to the beads of the first circle.

Once all the petal beads are made, tie a double knot with the starting thread and then pass the thread through a few beads of the first bead circle. Cut flush. Do the same with the starting thread.

To finish, place a small dot of glue in the support and position the cabochon. 

Your jewel is finished!
