An approximately 38 cm strand of small faceted round aquamarine beads, in a translucent sky blue crossed with fine milky veils. Carefully cut, the facets catch the light like the surface of clear water.
Features:
- Stone: natural aquamarine
- Shape: faceted round
- Size: approximately 3.5 mm
- Hole: approximately 0.5 mm
- Strand length: approximately 38 cm

This fine size is ideal for delicate necklaces, stacked bracelets, rosary chains, and minimalist earrings; aquamarine pairs naturally with silver tones and lights up when paired with gold. 0.5 mm fine hole: plan on 0.3 mm nylon thread, a fine cable, or a beading needle.
Limited selection: this aquamarine comes from a one-time arrival. It will not be restocked once this lot is sold.
A little gemology: aquamarine is the blue variety of beryl, a beryllium aluminum silicate, Be₃Al₂Si₆O₁₈, a cousin of emerald. It crystallizes in the hexagonal system, has a hardness of 7.5 to 8 on the Mohs scale, and a density of about 2.7. Its color is due to traces of iron: ferrous iron gives the blue, ferric iron a greenish tint. Its name comes from the Latin aqua marina, “sea water.” The main deposits are found in Brazil (Minas Gerais), Madagascar, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Pakistan.
Good to know: aquamarine is often heated at low temperature to reduce its green reflections and reveal a purer blue; this common, time-stable treatment cannot be ruled out here. It can be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
In lithotherapy: aquamarine is associated with the throat chakra. A stone of sailors, who carried it to cross the seas safely, it is credited with calming, clarity, and ease of expression.
The strand you will receive: the photos and video show a strand from the lot your order comes from. The shade, inclusions, and nuances are therefore representative of what you will receive; since each stone is natural, slight variations from one bead to another are part of its character.
100% natural product: the size, shape, shade, and number of beads may vary slightly from one strand to another. Dimensions and quantities are given for information only.
