For this project you will need:
Miyuki Délica 11/0 beads 0.6mm waxed nylon thread

Step 1:

To start, choose the word you want to write.

The possibilities are endless: a first name, initials, a personal message, a nickname...

Step 2:

Cut a piece of cord about 35cm long then string the beads following the chosen word.

Place 3 beads for the dashes and one bead for the dots. For the spaces, preferably place a bead of the same color as the cord.

Center the beads on the cord then make a knot at each end to secure them.

Then cross the cords and make a macramé knot using the technique below.
