Cascade of Aventurine — luminous & refined earrings

An easy tutorial to create a cascade of aventurine: a play of sizes & shapes, faceted cabochons that catch the light and clean assembly to enhance the gems.

To be declined infinitely with all our natural stone cabochons.

For this project you will need:

6 open rings 3mm 24K fine gold plated
earring supports 24K fine gold plated for 4x6mm cabochons
Gold plated supports with 24K gold connectors for 4mm and 6mm cabochons
2 pendants Gold plated with 24K gold for 4x6mm cabochons
4 natural stone cabochons 4x6mm
2 natural stone cabochons 4mm
2 natural stone cabochons 6mm

The tools to use:

flat pliers for jewelry making
UHU jewelry glue

The assembly:

To start, place a small dot of glue on a support (cardboard, sheet of paper...) This allows for proper glue dosing and prevents excess that could cause smudges on the supports and stones.

With a fine tip (toothpick for example), take a small amount of glue and place it in the center of a cabochon support. Place the cabochon in its support and then apply slight pressure. Adjust it to ensure it is well positioned.

Repeat this step for all supports and cabochons.

Wait for complete drying or at least 5/10 minutes.

Now open a 3mm ring using 2 flat pliers and connect the 6mm cabochon connector at the bottom of the earring support.

Connect the cabochon connector at the bottom of the 6mm connector and finish with the oval cabochon pendant.

Make sure to properly close the jump rings. If needed, place the assembly facing a window to see if the rings are correctly closed.

Repeat all the steps to make the second earring.

Your jewelry is finished!

Beautiful creation!
