This jewel is very easy to make, just cut 2 Linhasita wires of about 25cm each. Start threading the beads. You'll see that it's quite simple: you thread beads on the 2 wires separately, then assemble them with a bead threaded on the 2 wires at the same time... Here's how to make this pretty cluster, in threading order. Thread the 2 wires into a faceted bead, then on the right-hand wire thread a faceted bead and on the left-hand wire 2 faceted beads, reunite the wires by threading an oval bead. String an oval bead on the right-hand thread and 2 faceted beads on the left-hand thread, join the wires by threading an oval bead. On the right-hand thread, string a faceted pearl, 2 natural pearls and a faceted pearl. On the left-hand thread, thread a faceted pearl, a natural pearl and a faceted pearl. Bring the wires together with an oval bead. Now thread an oval bead onto the right-hand thread and 2 faceted beads onto the left-hand thread, join the wires by threading an oval bead. To finish, slip on a faceted pearl on the right-hand wire and 2 faceted beads on the left-hand wire, join the wires by threading a faceted bead. Tie a knot with the 2 threads at the ends of the beads to secure them. Now place the stopper bead. Thread 2 wires on one side of the bead. To place the other 2 in the crossing, use a very thin thread that you'll fold in 2 and use as a large needle. Place it in the bead stopper, thread the remaining 2 wires through the loop and pull them through smoothly. Thread a bead onto the ends of the wires, then tie a knot with the 2 wires. Trim the excess. And voilà! A great achievement! |
