This creation is very easy to make, so we're going to create a colored cord by mixing different yarns. As you'll see, it's a very simple weaving technique that allows you to change colors very easily, creating a unique and totally personalized cord.

Here we'll make a 4mm-diameter cord, using 8 cords of 0.5mm diameter. Play with contrasts or create a beautiful gradient of solid colors.

To begin, cut 8 wires of about 1.5 meters each, then tie a simple knot with all the cords at the end. This will lock the wires together and hide the knot in the end cap. 

Now start weaving.

Take a colored wire (here the blue wire serves as an example) and pass it under the other wires.

Then pass the blue wire over the others and through the loop created.

The blue wire jams the other 7 wires.

Using this method, continue knotting in the same direction. The result is a spiral knot.

When you want to change thread color, bring the previous thread back to the center with the other threads, then pull the colored thread outwards. Continue knotting in the same direction. It's so easy!

Make sure you tie the knots tightly, especially when changing colors!

Continue assembly until you reach the desired length. For a choker, we made a 38cm cord, then added the clasp and extension chain to adjust the necklace.

Tie a single knot with all wires at the edge of the last knot.

Thread the closed rings onto the cord, then position the various pendants with the 5mm rings. This ring size allows you to place the pendants where you want them without them moving too much or getting stuck on the cord.

Finally, cut the cords flush with the knots at the ends.

Your jewelry is finished!
