Step into our workshop... see what goes on behind the scenes... How the pieces that make up your jewelry are born... From creation to online publication... From our workshop to delivery to your home...
At the beginning there is the desire to create a piece of jewelry, a shape, a style... then comes the most difficult step, finding the right piece(s).
Some pieces will be made from a mold, these are the volume pieces, for which we use Zamak. A light alloy which has the advantage of having a low melting point, at low temperature. Other flatter ones will be made from brass sheets, cut using templates, shaped then pressed to add texture.
Traceability and Values: Our parts are made in European workshops. It is essential for us to offer you quality parts that comply with European regulations.
This step is carried out on the brass parts and occurs after the production of the base part.
It is essential for applying a cabochon support to a piece, soldering a nail stem to create an earring, placing a ring on the back to facilitate assembly, etc.
This is a meticulous step that is carried out manually by our craftsmen.
This is the final step, one of the most important because it is what will give grace and shine to your creation. The piece is dipped in a gold or silver bath for a variable time depending on the desired thickness.
At the house of
Always striving to offer you quality jewelry pieces at the fairest price, we have developed a special bath with our partner gilder for many years.
Honesty: Rather than making you believe that your jewelry will last a lifetime, we prefer to invite you to take care of your creations. Jewelry with gilding is not made of solid gold or silver like our grandmothers' jewelry. It is a layer applied on top. It is therefore natural that if this piece is mistreated by repeated use of water, cosmetic products... the layer will wear off over time. You may not see it after a few months but it will happen even with gold plated. This does not call into question the quality of the product but rather the use made of it. Let's respect our creations by making them last longer ;-)
