This tutorial takes you step-by-step from bead positioning to brass wire mounting.

For this creation, you will need:
earring holders for cabochons 8x10mm 24K gold plated 0.7mm flexible brass wire Gilded with 24K fine gold 4mm rings gilded with 24K fine gold starfish pendants 2 cabochons 8x10mm mother-of-pearl pearls, 12 x 6mm, 8 x 8mm and 2 x 10mm

Assembly:

To begin, mount the starfish pendants on 4mm rings.

Cut a brass wire approximately 25cm long. At one end of the wire, form a coiled loop by placing the earring holder before closing the loop. Trim off any excess wire.

Thread the beads onto the wire. 3 beads 6mm, 1 bead 8mm, a pendant, 1 bead 8mm, a pendant then a bead 10mm. Continue in symmetry...

Form the drop with the bead threading, then wind the brass wire around the edge of the wound loop. Trim the excess at the back of the assembly. Flatten the cut with flat-nose pliers.
