To begin, cut a piece of brass wire about 15cm long.

Thread 15 mother-of-pearl beads onto the brass wire and then form the string into a drop shape. Bring the two ends of the wire upwards and then twist them once to secure the stringing.

Wrap the first wire around the edge of the beads 2 times then cut the excess off.

With the second wire, make a loop using the round-nose pliers, then wrap the wire around the edge of the beads onto the first wire. Trim the excess wire flush.
