| To start, cut a thread of about 60cm then tie it on the creole. Cast on 30 beads for the first row using the technique of Brickstitch weaving. To do this, tie the end of the thread on the creole then thread 2 beads on the needle, pass the needle through the creole then pass it back through the second bead. These will naturally position themselves on the outer edge of the creole. Once the beads are mounted, make the tips interspersed with drop beads. Still using the same technique, place 2 beads on the second row by making a decrease, then 1 bead on the 3rd row to form the triangle. Go back down into the pearls and come out in the 4th bead of the first row. Now thread a drop bead before continuing the assembly of the tips... Beautiful creations ;-) | ||||
