To begin, cut a brass wire approximately 42cm long. (For a 40cm necklace)

Mount the pendant on a 4mm ring, then pass it over the wire.

Start assembling the beads symmetrically...

Here we've strung 4mm white beads around the pendant, followed by 5 stone chips.

Then add a touch of colour with 6mm Heishi beads.

Between each 6mm washer, insert a 4mm washer. This will create a relief.

You can also place the metal washers to add contrast...

Once the beads have been strung to the right length, form the loops at the ends. Here we've made a 40cm necklace for a choker.

Open the buckles and place the clasp on one side and the extension chain on the other. (approx. 4cm)
