1 - To begin, cut 3 threads about 1m long.
Adapt the size to your needs. Here we've made a long necklace with 0.35mm wire.
Then follow the diagram below.

2 - Tie a knot in the centre of the 3 cords.

3 - Separate the cords in a star pattern to form 3 pairs.

4 - Tie a knot in each pair of cords. 

5 - Place the knots at the same level. Tighten the knots well.

6 - Separate the threads and place them in pairs with neighbouring threads. Then tie a knot.

7 - Continue the knots, working your way all the way round.

8 - Be sure to place the knots at the same level for greater consistency.

9 - Test whether your stone is positioned correctly and check that the knots are well placed. If necessary, continue knotting.

10 - Once the net is the right size, place the stone in position and tie a knot with all the cords to secure the stone.

11 - Separate the threads into 2 series of 3 threads then braid to the end.

12 - Tie a knot to secure the plaits and trim the excess threads.
