To begin, mount the beads on eye studs. For the central amethyst mounting, take a large eye nail, thread an oval bead and a toupie bead, a 6mm bead and then an 8mm bead. Continue in symmetry with a 6mm bead, a toupie bead and then an oval bead. At the end of the nail, form a pretty single loop of the same size as the one already on the nail. Then make 6 arrangements with the mother-of-pearl beads. Thread a tube pearl, a mother-of-pearl pearl and a tube pearl onto an eye stud. Make a single loop. Repeat this step with the remaining 5 nails.
Now connect 3 beads mounts together and attach them to one side of the amethyst mount. On the other side, connect the 3 beads mounts. This will create a beads chain.
Measure the previous assembly. Here we've made a choker of around 40cm, but you can adjust the measurements to suit your needs. Subtract the value of the bead setting from your necklace size and divide the result by 2. This will give you the measurement for each chain. Cut 2 pieces of chain to the right length. Connect the chains to the ends of the beads assembly.
To finish, connect the clasp and about 4cm of extension chain to the ends of the chains with joining rings. Your jewellery is finished! Beautiful creation! |
