To begin, cut a thread about 60cm long and tie it around the creole.

Assemble 30 beads for the first row using the Brickstitch weaving technique.

To do this, knot the end of the thread on the creole, then thread 2 beads onto the needle, pass the needle through the creole and then back through the second bead. These will position themselves naturally on the outer edge of the creole.

Once the beads have been assembled, create the points, interspersed with drop beads. Still using the same technique, place 2 beads on the second row, making a decrease, then 1 bead on the 3rd row to form the triangle.

Go back down into the beads and come out in the 4th bead of the first row. Now thread a drop bead before continuing to assemble the points...
