To begin, cut a piece of brass wire about 25cm long. Divide the strand of 4mm beads in 2, setting half aside for the other earring. At one end of the brass wire, form a small loop as shown in the photo below.
Then thread 25 beads onto the brass wire.
Count 9 beads starting from the wrapped loop, then form a loop with the remaining 16 beads to create the bow loop. Then twist the loop at the yarn crossing to secure it.
Now form a ring around the edge of the loop. This will act as a hook for the earring holder.
Thread 16 beads onto the thread again and form the 2nd symmetrical loop. Twist the loop at the crossing.
Now string the remaining 9 beads and bring them up to the edge of the loop. To secure the beads, form a small loop around them as you did when starting the assembly.
The result is a beautiful bow pendant. Give it a pretty shape and some life by creating curves and bulging the beads loops. Next, open a 4mm ring and insert 5 small mounted beads, connect the ring to one of the loops created and close it properly. Do the same for the other loop.
Finally, stick the cabochons into the earring holders. Then connect the BO brackets with a 3mm ring to the top of the knot pendant. Do the same for the other earring. And voilà! Beautiful creation! |
