Weaving assembly

 

To begin, cut a nylon thread about 60cm long and thread it through the eye of the needle.

Thread a bead and then pass the needle under the closed ring.

Pass the needle through the inside of the ring before passing back through the bead.

Pull firmly, keeping a starting thread of about 20cm. This will be stopped once the weaving is complete.

You can see that the pearl is positioned at the outer edge of the circle.

Continue in this way with the other beads until you have completely filled the outside of the circle.

Mother-of-pearl beads are fragile, so use a needle with a very fine eye. If you feel any resistance when you pass the needle through the pearl, don't force it.

To finish, gently iron the start and end threads, then tie a discreet knot on the reverse side. Be careful not to break the beads during the last thread pass. 

Cut the threads short.

Then open the 6mm rings and connect the weave to the BOs.

And voilà! Beautiful creation...
